As times get tougher and more people struggle financially, the need to help people by providing a meal or basic food items has become even greater. While our focus remains on soup kitchens and food hampers, we also hand out food vouchers so that recipients can buy exactly what they need.

As part of our continuing education programme, those living in the Light of Hope Homes learn cooking skills. Using these skills, they prepare hearty and nutritious meals for our soup kitchens, and also assist with the serving of the food to our beneficiaries.

Many parents and guardians today are struggling to put food on the table for their children. At our homes we also put together food hampers of necessities, which are then handed out in partnership with other charities and in the communities we serve.
